Security Background Checks (SBC’s)

Q. Do I have to use one of the companies approved by Wolverine for my SBC’s?
A. Not necessarily, but any other company you wish to use must be submitted and approved by Wolverine prior to using them.

Q. What is the cost of a SBC?
A. The cost varies depending upon which company you choose to perform the check and will vary depending upon the work and residence history of an individual.

Q. What do I do after receiving the report back from a SBC company?
A. Notify your local Wolverine representative or the Contract Administrator of the status of the screenings.

Q. How long will it take a SBC to be accomplished?
A. It will take an average of 3-5 days.

 

Preferred Contractor List (PCL)

Q. How do I get on the List?
A. Contact a Wolverine employee. If determined that your services are required, your Wolverine contact submits a request and seeks approval to add a new contractor to the PCL. If approved by management, a qualification package is sent to the contractor.

Q. What are the requirements to be added to the Wolverine PCL?
A. Drug & Alcohol compliance, Health & Safety evaluations and a safe work history. Depending on the service being provided, Operator Qualification and/or Security Background checks may be also required.

Q. How do I get a contract with Wolverine?
A. Discuss with your Wolverine contact.

Q. What kinds of contracts are available with Wolverine?
A. Continuous Service Agreement – requested if cost of services is substantial or need is long term.
Order for Goods and/or Services – created directly by employees for short term/low cost needs. Other types of contracts/agreements are used in special situations.

Q. Who do I contact if I have a question pertaining to my invoice or why I haven’t received payment?
A. Contact your Wolverine contact.
